Preparing For Little League Season
I know it’s just the beginning of winter and many are going to ask why the heck am I talking about little league baseball right now. Well for those of us that live in states that don’t have the luxury of year round nice weather we need to take advantage of this off season to purchase our little league equipment at clearance or discounted prices. I’ve been elected to scout out the stores for cheap clearance softball bats, catchers gear, practice balls and other things we need for our local little league teams. It never fails from year to year we always seem to lose or break bats, have catchers gear that gets damaged and you can never have enough practice baseballs around. I’ve recently set up a site where I watch the auctions for discount little league equipment to help further save money for our upcoming season. This year we plan on hosting several baseball tournements at our home field to help offset some of the costs for equipment. In the past our entire baseball supply budget came from the sales at the snack bar and local business contributions.
