I’m A Nature lover
When I’m not working and have free time to myself, I love to hit the great outdoors. I love to go fishing. There are several small farm ponds in my area that make great places to relax, sip a cool drink and enjoy the natural surrounding while I wait for the bobber to drop. In addition to fishing small farm ponds I often break out my fly rod and reel and head for some of the local streams to do some trout or small mouth bass fishing. If you’ve never had the thrill of a decent sized trout or small-mouth snag your fly from the top of the water and drag it rapidly downstream, you don’t know what your missing. Fly fishing in my opinion is one of the greatest overlook types of fishing. Far to often you watch the Sunday morning sportsmen shows and they are nothing but big boat, fancy rods and reels and the latest professional bass fishing lures. While I do enjoy watching the bass fishing tournaments I’d sure love to see more fly fishing tournaments on the sports channels. There’s just something special about wading a stream and planning your strategy to land that big rainbow lurking behind a big rock.
